The EMU Black is a class-leading, stand-alone engine management system designed to operate even the most advanced and complex engines. As the successor to the proven EMU, it incorporates years of data and feedback to deliver significant improvements in hardware, software, and reliability. Suitable for race cars, street builds, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engines, the EMU Black offers unrivalled versatility.

With the ability to control fueling, ignition, and auxiliary systems on 1–12 cylinder engines — including drive-by-wire and VVT — the EMU Black is built for both performance and safety. It directly drives up to 6 passive or 12 smart coils without external modules, supports sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies, and features advanced fault detection for critical engine protection.
